A Wonderful Family Cruise

Sail Date: March 2011
Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Just cruised on Crown Princess with our daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren and had a terrific time (again). Love the cleanliness, helpfullness, outstanding meals, and attentive stewards and waiters. We were especially delighted with the special attention our head waitors, Luigi and Jamie, in the Michaelangelo Dining Room gave to our two (vegetarian) granddaughters, ages 11 and 6. This was their first cruise and they were in awe the entire week.

The Kids Clubs were such a hit with them that two nights they ate upstairs at the buffet early so they could get to the kids clubs' activities for the night. Then the adults ate leisurely in the dining room. The other nights when they ate with us in the dining room they were so eager to finish to get to "their" special disco night, circus night, pajama party, etc. It worked out great because we adults could visit the casino and shows.

Princess has always done a terrific job in service and we loved the More entertainment and exceptional band - Temperature! They really made our trip a true "island experience". Our steward, Sopon, was always ready, willing, and able to serve our every need ASAP. Beds were comfy, ports great, shows and activities were very enjoyable, and we made some wonderful memories for all of us. We love this layout of the ship - easy to maneuver and didn't feel crowded anywhere (except pool area). Can't wait to take our son, daughter-in-law (currently 6 months' pregnant, and two grandchildren next time! Less

Port and Shore Excursions

#1 port was not Cozumel but was Cayman Island. Very nice to visit and experience.

Loved this port. One of the highlights of our trip was zip lining in Roatan. People very friendly and helpful.
