We started our vacation the night before and stayed at the Country Inn and Suites at the port in a Kids Suite. We took advantage of their park and cruise package which was a ggreat deal and included a full breakfast, transfers to the port, and parking at the hotel along with a suite for $155.We arrived to the port by 11am and were on the ship by 11.30. We went straight for lunch and then started checking out the ship. She is beautiful and loaded with lots of character. Our room was ready at 1pm and we were very impressed with it. We stayed in a Promenade Family stateroom and it was well worth the price. We had a nice bathroom with shower and tub. There was a king size bed in one area and a coach, chair, table along with 2 closets in the opposite area. There was a large walk in closet with nice dresser. There were 2 windows looking down on the Promenade with large window seats. There was also a separate room with bunk beds and a closet. We had plenty of room and will definately stay in this room again. We never ate in the dining room, but the Windjammer was good. It was the same food most days, but for a family it worked. We also enjoyed the Cafe and Sorrentos. Johnny Rockets is a must. The shows were ok, but we did enjoy the ice show the most which you have to get tickets to. We loved the parages and entertainment on the Promenade deck, which sometimes we just watched from our window.Adventure Ocean is wonderful. We had a child in each program except the 5 and under. Our kids loved it and begged to go all the time. We even did the late night stay and they never complained. As for the ports of call: Labadee is beautiful. Its easy to walk around and lunch is free at the 3 cafes. We stayed on the calm side of the area at Columbus Cove Beach and it was so quaint. We did avoided the market!Falmouth was nothing to admire. The captain held up debark and this cut of excursion to the falls time and there was not a credit for that. I wasn't happy that we only got 45 minutes at the beautiful falls and paid full price, but RC wasn't going to compensate when we asked. The drive is really long too!Grand Cayman is amazing! I fell in love with the beautiful area and would retire there someday.Cozumel was the same as previous times except very cool. We took a taxi to Paradise Beach (our favorite) and they have added a large heated pool.We did experience alot of high seas and rocking, but we didn't get sea sick. Overall I would highly recommend this ship. We plan to sail her again for my sons senior trip. She is the perfect size and towers over most other ships.
