Great Trip but nickel and dimed to death.

Sail Date: March 2011
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Don't bring any booze with you. There is security at every port and the only thing they are looking for is booze. They don't want you to bring any on board. They only want you to buy their drinks. And it was a different price for the same drink at different locations. Why?????????????.

On a positive note I didn't see any drunks on board. So maybe this is a good thing.

Food was okay. You get sick of eating at the main dining room that takes over 2 hours to dine. You get sick of eating at the Windjammer Market. And where are the midnight buffets????? I thought the food could have been better.

ON a positive note the shows were great and the Comedy Show was awesome along with the Ice Skating Show.

Photos let them take as many as you can at all of the ports. The photos were awesome and the best deal is to buy the CD for 299.00 and get all of your pictures that you can print on your own when you get home otherwise every individual picture you buy is More 20.00. This includes the family pictures that are taken on the Formal Nites.

We went on an excursion to Atlantis and that was awesome. Well worth the money the fish tanks called the Dig is great to view and the kids will love the waterslides.

We also went on the St John Island tour. I felt it was a waste of money. They take you over by boat and then they drive you around. Everyone that did the snorkel trip on St. John was very happy.

We went to Lotterie Farms for the Zip Lining on St. Maarten. It is actually a rope obstacle course set in the trees. There are a few zip lines. We had an overall good time but this is very strenuous and we were all feeling the pain the next day. They have a longer zipline course but that was not offered by the cruise ship.

The best thing on the Oasis is the Flow Rider for the older kids and there were tons of activities for your kids. Very family friendly ship. Less

Cabin review: Oasis of the Seas Central Park view Stateroom with Balcony Deck 10 11585

We had a balcony over Central Park. This was great it gave you a place to eat room service breakfast in the morning and it didn't break the bank. It was quiet and relaxing. The room steward was awesome. Suitcases go under the bed and there was lots of closet space with lots of hangers. I couldn't believe how many hangers they gave you. Only problem is not enough electrical outlets. The ones that are there are hard to find and hard to get to.
