2 week Southern Caribbean Cruise, March 2011.

We are 60 plus age cruisers this being our 14 princess cruise and 17 overall. We chose the Southern Caribbean for the best weather. We decided on a 2 week cruise back to back cruise to spread the air fare to San Juan over 2 weeks. While we don't usually book a balcony, we did this time since our trip was for 2 weeks. We thoroughly enjoyed the winter break and will take a similar cruise next year.

Trip from Chicago was uneventful and we arrived at the Caribbean Princess about 3 pm. Since we were platinum cruisers, we were given priority check in. Once that was completed I bought some soda at the duty free store and we boarded the ship. Good price 2.99 per 8 pack. We soon met our steward Lino who was magnificent for the whole trip. I tipped him $20 immediately to introduce myself. We toured the ship, had something to eat and enjoyed the first day.
