Precruise flew USAir into San Juan and stayed at the Sheraton Old San Juan - we thought the hotel was quite overpriced although the location was quite nice. Spent 2 days shopping and touring Old San Juan

embarkation onto Serenade was relatively painless - 30 minutes from taxi to cabin. Overall impression through the week was that Serenade was a very well run ship -- clean, pleasant crew, nicely laid out, lots of activities. Slightly smaller ship than our previous experience - never found it crowded
