Ft Lauderdale - Extremely easy to get onto the port, drop your bags, and park in the mid level garage. There was a short wait in line but then directly on the ship. Leaving was just as easy. The stewards are helpful but not pushy
First 2 Sea Days The weather was a tad bouncy but as long as you didn't go into the Mad Hatter Lounge, you really didn't notice it too much.
Ports: St Marteen was a little disappointing. Why Carnival insists on visiting on a Sunday when they know the French side is totally closed down is beyond me.
St Lucia is very pretty and has great beaches. Husband played golf and was happy.
We didn't leave the port area of St Kitts due to the negative reviews we had read over the winter. My husband did play golf at the Marriott and he raved about the course
Food: Everything was good as always. We are not foodies but the meals were served on time and were hot.
Entertainment: Karaoke has to go. On this cruise, they kept changing the location. Two nights you could not leave Bacchus without walking into Karaoke. This is not fair to those who like karaoke or to those of us who loathe Karaoke. I for one would be very happy if Karaoke was left to the Mad Hatter Lounge every night. Then only those who want to hear and participate would have to endure listening to people who think they can sing. Also Legends show needs to go bye bye. I did not pay all this money to hear other passengers. Luckily this trip, no one was truly awful, but still. The shows were the standard Generations, Ticket to Ride, and a Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis night. I don't care for jugglers or comedians so did not attend those nights. Several members of our group did go and said they were good.
Con: If you have a large group with balcony rooms, be aware that every member of your group must go in mass to guest relations to sign up to have your balcony open. There are only 15 clamps so they go fast.
