My husband and I recently cruised on the Emerald Princess to celebrate our 10-year anniversary. We had a wonderful time! I'll try to touch on some of the great things we enjoyed, as well as a few things that needed improvement. Overall it was a fabulous cruise! This was our 7th cruise together. We are in our early 30's, with no children.

EMBARKATION - We stayed at a nearby hotel (Hyatt Place North Airport) which had a 10:30 shuttle to the cruise port. The Emerald was the first stop, so we were at the port by 10:45. The line was outside of the building, but once it started moving at about 11:15, it moved pretty fast. After the security checkpoint, we went right to the lines to check in. We were on the ship by about 11:45. Our room was ready and we were able to drop off our bags and explore!

SHIP - Beautiful! All of the lounges, restaurants, and common areas are decorated very tastefully. The ship is kept meticulously clean. Loved the pool areas! They were a little crowded on sea days, but normally around 4:00 they emptied out and we had the pool to ourselves for an evening swim.
