The Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas is the largest cruise ship in the world. We signed up for the shows in advance on line www.rccl.com web site. Our first show featured Ocean Aria, which is a diving show with dynamic tumbling, acrobats, and choreography. Other shows included Chicago, Headliner Show-a comedian from Las Vegas, Comedy Show, the Blue Planet Show-excellent acrobats and music, and an Ice Show.
The food is superb. Most of the time we ate in the dining hall. We dined one night at 150 Central Park, a superb restaurant featuring a 7-8 course meal. We ate lunch one day at Giovanni's, an excellent Italian restaurant. You need reservations in advance.
We were on deck 12 with a water view balcony. Two mornings we had complimentary breakfast in our room. The balcony and location of our room was great.
There were many activities for people of all ages. On the Promenade Deck 5, there were 2 Parades featuring Dream Work Characters. They had over 26 different dining selections. The Solarium Bistro on deck 16 had Sizzling steak, scallops, and shrimps on a stick. The Love and Marriage show in the Amber Theater was hilarious. We liked the Dazzles Lounge on decks 7 and 8 which played excellent music from the 60's until today. We would rate this cruise an AAA+ because of the amenities, excellent dining, and services provided by the crew.
