Ship Facts: Jewel of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Jewel of the Seas Deck Plans
WONDERFUL
We left out of Port Ft. Lauderdale. We arrived at about 11 a.m. There were no lines or waiting. We signed in and were on the ship in about 30 min. or less. This was definitely the easiest, swiftest embarkation to date for us. We had cabin 7108. It was close to the elevators by the centrum and access to all other areas was fantastic. Our cabin was a non smoking balcony at the end of several smoking balconies, however. And cigarette smoke from next door was unpleasant and even came into the cabin if the door was open to the balcony.

Sea days were fun filled, lots of activities. Rough seas on 1 day and sick bags were present. Pool areas are well laid out. We didn't see alot of deck chair saving. There were always chairs available.

This ship is beautiful, with a great layout. The food was excellent. We had my time dining. We never had to wait and we received the same table for 2 almost every night. The service was good but not as good as previous experiences in the formal dining room.

The crew on this ship was the most friendly accommodating group we have ever sailed with!
