We chose this ship despite having read some less than glowing reviews because the itinerary contained no days at sea and we booked last minute with a great price.
The passengers were mostly from Europe with a handful of Canadians and Mexicans. Less than 100 passengers boarded in Martinique. The result was that there were only 100 - 150 English speaking passengers. There was an English speaking hostess to provide information and many of the staff were fluent. I found the multilingualism interesting. You never knew what response you would get when you said good evening. My husband found the announcements in 5 languages tedious.
The rooms were spacious and the staff all friendly and accommodating. We experienced a lot of engine noise in our cabin to the point of changing rooms at 2:00 a.m. one night. This is apparently a known problem for the 4th deck.
