We decided to cruise on Pacific Pearl this time around.
Previously cruising on Sun Princess (fantastic, superb food, great crew, wonderful ship) then on Dawn Princess (Good cruise but not up to Sun standard in quality and choice of food)so slightly disappointed with Dawn.
Just arrived back from cruising on P&O Pacific Pearl.
Never, never, never again. Hot food in buffet was cold almost all the time.
Cold food was warm. No variety. Veal Roasts. Veal Ribs, Veal sausages, veal burgers, veal brawn, sliced veal, veal casserole. Most meat served was tough and flavourless. Even ham appeared to have been pre-frozen and watery.
No lettuce half-way through cruise. Ran out and was not replenished at all for rest of cruise.
Smell of one public toilet in corridor was unpleasant to say the least. This lasted the entire cruise.
Stood at Bar on upper deck and waited 15mins to be served while female bar attendant flirted with two male passengers about sucking on the straw in their drink.
Good Points: Captain was very informative and frequently addressed the passengers with a quirky sense of humour.
Cabins slightly larger and well set out than Princess.
Food in Main restaurant repetative and similar to buffet.
Could'nt wait to get off. Never again.
