This was my 5th cruise & my wifes 4th. I've done 4 Carnival Cruises, My wife 3 & we cruised on R.C in Nov 09'.My first cruise was in 1992 on the Carnival Fantasy which got me hooked on cruising. Carnival has always exceeded our expectations on our previous cruises & although our experience on Destiny was'nt the greatest it still has'nt soured us on sailing Carnival again. We're just going to stick to the newer ships. Our previous cruises were on the Carnival Triumph, Carnival Victory & Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas.

Our cruise on the Destiny was by far the rockiest cruise we've ever been on.It seemed that the ship had no stabilizers at all. There were many people feeding the fish (thank god we were'nt)& complaining about how bad the ship was being thrown about. Embarkation & debarkation was pretty much a breeze. The fitness room was too small for the amount of people who wanted to use it. All the staff from the moment we stepped aboard until the moment we left was as usual no less than EXCELLENT.Our cabin steward Abigail was awesome! I asked if I could steal more candies on our 2nd night. Every other night she made it a point to leave me more than enough..(many thanks & yums) along with some great towel animals.

The food this time was just ok. Nothing at the Lido buffet was ever hot. Luke warm at best. The food in the Sun & Sea Buffet Lido deck rear was a little better & hot. The food in the Universe dining room this cruise again just ok. They only had a few items on the menu that I found appealing but I'm a fussy eater so in no way was that Carnival's fault. Our waitress in the dining room was good but it took such a long time to get our food. Every time it would take a good 30-40 min from the time we ordered to the time we recieved our meals. Dinig room entertainment was top notch as always.
