First let me say that after reading all the negative reviews about the PRIDE cruise experience, we had thought about cancelling! We are very happy that we did not. Arrival at the Port of Baltimore and check in could easily be expedited by for example pre-paying for parking to reduce lines and adding several mare payment stations. Overall the ship check in procedure was not so bad as compared to others we have experienced and moved along a a reasonable pace. All the personnel were at check in wore smiles and were helpful.
The ship itself has great character and as mature adults were not offended by the nude portraits from the Masters as were some of the reviewers you will read. Three elevator banks with many elevators per bank made it very easy to find our way around the ship and we never had to waist time waiting for an elevator as had happened on many of our cruises. The overall appearance of the ship interior was extremely clean as was our stateroom; and it was kept that way. Several reviews indicated that the rooms were dirty and that they did not see the room steward for the entire 7 days. These cruisers must have been on a different ship or they just never slept in their room?
The food was very good to excellent as were the staff in the restaurants. The entertainment was very enjoyable as the young singers and dancers gave it there all.
Aft cabin - great view. Large bathroom. Very clean.
