This was our 9th cruise with Princess and we hope the experience we had on the Emerald was just a fluke. Nothing really major, but all the little things add up to the point we were wondering if it was just us. But after talking to other passengers late in the cruise and reading the reviews from others on the cruise, we realized it wasn't just us being to picky.

Embarkation was uneventful, arrived just before 11AM and were onboard by noon. Once to our cabin noticed the wrong name tag was on the mailbox, mentioned it to the steward who said he would take care of it, Three days later went to Passenger Services Desk and then 2 tags showed up by dinner.

Our cabin steward was mediocre at best. Glasses would not get replaced, had to ask twice for the water to be restocked in the fridge, chocolates were not placed on the pillow some nights and a few other minor things that on past cruises you never noticed because they were always done. I don't know if they have increased the number of rooms the stewards are responsible for or what, but the attention to detail is severely lacking. Then to top it all off, on disembarkation day we were to be in Club Fusion by 8AM. We went to breakfast and came to the cabin at 7:40AM and even though our carryon luggage was still in the cabin, the door was wide open and he had come in and striiped the bed already and the next passengers' nametag was already on the door. Talk about being pushed out the door!
