Embarcation: We had invited friends to join us on the Bon Voyage Experience. As a result we were the first to board at about 11 AM. We declined the tour offered by Princess, and began by checking out our cabin, touring the ship, and then going to the MDR for lunch - part of their Bon Voyage Experience.

Once again Princess Staff were posted at the Dining Room Doors trying to fight off those who might want lunch. The staff member was agggressive, but I persisted as the lunch was part of our friends BVE Experience. It was not a welcoming start to the cruise. I wish Princess would not tell passengers lunch is available in the MDR and then tell staff to keep us out.

We had a nice lunch and our guests a good visit. the promised wine and photo were available only to the guests not us. Did I misunderstand what was offered? Decided not to pursue this.
