This was our third Celebrity cruise - eighth cruise overall. Since this was our second time on the Equinox, we knew the ship would be exceptional and opted to book an Aqua Class cabin (1519) so we could experience something different other than the itinerary. We got a really good price in AQ since we had booked this cruise early.

The ship didn't leave Fort Lauderdale until Monday, so we decided to spend the weekend in Florida. We stayed at the Cambria Suites which worked out well. The staff was very friendly. They offered complementary shuttle service from the airport and to the cruise port. There was a good breakfast buffet each morning for $8 per person. They also offered a dinner menu and bar service. Lunch was only pre-made sandwiches and salads for sale. The rooms had a sofa and nice comfortable bed. The pool area was good with ample lounge chairs. There are, however, limited places to eat within walking distance of the Cambria Suites.

Aqua Class: We knew we wanted to take advantage of the spa and exercise equipment so being close to everything was a real plus. We were able to walk from our cabin wearing our robes right into the spa. Included with AQ we got slippers, extra bath products, a nice zipper tote bag, and free use of the Persian Gardens. Every day we got a carafe of tea, two bottles of water, and fresh fruit. We didn't want the canapEs every day because we had to be in our cabin at an agreed upon time to accept delivery.
