Sail Date: Feb 2011

We sailed the Ruby Princess Feb 6, 2011.

EMABARKATION: Arrived at 11:40 and was on the ship at 12:10. I like that the rooms are ready so you can drop off your carry-on bags.

DINING: Chose anytime dining in Michaelangelo. Dined at 5:30 for all meals and never had to wait for a table for two. Great service in here. On the second formal night, no beef dishes offered and the alternate menu was not available. We decided to go to the Buffet but the main buffet was closed. Only the Caribe buffet was open that night and had some "RAFI" themed food which killed our appetite so we left without eating. The Horizon Court buffet seems somewhat cramped but the Caribe seems to have a liitle more room. Buffet table service here is hit or miss. On several occassions people had to go get their own drinks. 50% of the buffet crew seemed unhappy and unsupervised.

Cabin Review

CABIN: Had lots of storage space. I would have prefered a small couch like Royal Carribean has instead of sitting on the bed. I wish you could review your onboard account on the room TV monitor.
