Hi Guys,

Congrats to all of you! For those of you going on this trip, I have to tell you I just returned from this very same trip three weeks ago. Same ship, same itinerary. You are all in for a treat. I thought that I would give you some of the highlights that I noticed on our trip in January, we were on for two five day back to back cruises. You can take it or leave it as these were just my observations; I have been on a total of 9 cruises in the last 7 years and this ship was right up there with some of the nicest. Some of you may have been on cruises before and so some of this may be old news to you.

Two Great Stops; on the cruise are Grand Cayman and Cozumel. In Grand Cayman if you want to go to the beach, go left when you get off the ship and grab a taxi. If you want to make your wife happy and spend some money on jewelry, hang a right when you get off the ship and hold on to your wallet. It's a shoppers dream, just ask my wife. In Cozumel if you don't have an excursion booked you can grab a taxi and head down to any number of beaches for a few bucks per person. As far as excursions, if we are unable to book on line before the cruise, make sure you get in line quickly to get what you want as some of these fill up fast. You can always go off on your own with a taxi but beware of the time, if you miss the ship you have to catch up at the next port on your own dime if you miss the ship. If you are on an excursion booked on the ship, they will get you on the ship one way or another. Doing something not sponsored by the ship is cheaper but the risk is higher, just make sure you have plenty of time to get back to the ship.

Cabin Review

Promenade Stateroom

Cabin PR

Promenade stateroom was nice change from total darkness of the interior staterooms. It make your usable space a little smaller it thought though. The chair that goes under the desk, doesn't...go under the desk that is so it's always kind of in the way. We loved it though and would book it again. We generally book the guarantee stateroom so we were very pleased to get this room for two five day back to backs for only 300 each five days.

Yay RCCL!!!
