Embarkation: 15-20min to get on ship, boarded about Noon, easy board. No long lines or waits as others have posted, maybe just lucky??
StateRoom:
We stayed in a Grand Suite, 1270, deck 10. The room was 348sqft and well appointed, flat screen, bar, walkin bath w/tub and shower, double sinks. The attendant (Noel) was excellent, knew everyone's name in 1 day. We had access to the concierge lounge which was very nice, a bit small, but nice overall, enjoyed meeting others in the lounge, the concierges were very attentive. No complaints, would do so again.
Crew:
We found the crew very friendly and helpful, probably the best so far in our 5 cruises. Amazing how they remembered your name after 1 meeting!!
Ship:
For a 12 yr ship, she is in good shape, hardly any wear we could see. The gym was excellent, spa services good to average. Crew did parades and parties on the Royal promenade several times which was very good.
Shows:
The singers were above avg along w/the dancers, we enjoyed both. We did the Murder Mystery show and wine tasting dinner in the Portofino restaurant, both very good.
Food:
Above avg in the Windjammer and main dining room (we had My Time Dining). Service was very good in all areas.
Overall,
We had a great time, signed up for Crown and Anchor Soc and got booking # for next RCI cruise, says it all!!
