Just returned from our Dec. 2nd cruise on the beautiful Legend of the Seas. We flew to Honolulu 2 days early and enjoyed a Luau on Dec. 1st. at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Beautiful place. There were four of us. MY husband, Mike, I and our lifetime friends, Jan and Steve. I had cruised on the Nordic Empress, the Monarch of the Seas, the Voyager and now the LOS.

We arrived at the pier at approximately 11:30 a.m. on the 2nd of Dec. No lines so no waiting. Absolutely the most well organized embarkation I have experienced. Everyone from RCI was smiling, helpful and friendly. Pictures were taken and we entered the ship by 1:00 p.m. Our friends were so excited about the size of the ship and the beautiful Centrum really caught their attention immediately. It was a pleasure watching them discover all the new and exciting things a cruise ship has to offer. The shiny golds, the bright colors and all the open space and large windows everywhere.

The members of the staff, as usual, were waiting and ready for us. We were filled with anticipation as we went to the 8th deck, anxious to see our Junior Suites. It was all that we had hoped for. I especially wanted the bathtub which is why we chose a JS. I surely wasn't disappointed. It was a great size (bigger than other cabins we had stayed in) and immaculately clean. The whole cabin was sparkling. Our family had arranged for our cabin to be decorated with balloons, streamers and signs with Bon Voyage on the door as well as in the cabin. There was a cake, a beautiful tropical flower arrangement and later in the day, a box of chocolate covered strawberries were delivered.
