Sail Date: Jan 2011
Cabin: Sky Suite 2

We sailed on the Celebrity Eclipse on January 22, 2011. This was our first cruise on the Solstice Class ship although we have cruised extensively with Celebrity. We were completely awed by the beauty, cleanliness and functionality of this ship. The personnel were very friendly and although there were one or two lapses in stateroom maintenance, for the greater part we were exceptionally pleased.

The sky suite that we had was much larger than the sky suite on the Millenium class ships and was extremely well designed. There was so much storage space that I had empty drawers and cabinets. We did not see the veranda cabin up close, and that is the class that we usually take, but I'm hoping that it will similarly have excellent space.

The Theater was very comfortable and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the entertainment--both the celebrity singers and dancers, and the two other entertainers.

Cabin Review

Sky Suite 2

Cabin S2

Great large cabin, large closets, plenty of storage space, quiet hallway, full bathroom with bathtub. However it was underneath the casual dining venue so in the morning you could hear chairs being dragged. If you are a light sleeper you might want to pick a sky suite on another floor if they are available.
