Everyone we talked to said get off St. Thomas and go to St. John. So that's what we did. We took a $10 pp taxi to Red Hook Ferry, then crossed over to St. John for $12 pp round-trip. From there, we taxied $6 pp to Trunk Bay Beach. $4 each to get into the park. Wow, what a beach. Snorkeling was closed due to high surf, but the rest of the beach was amazing. Prettiest beach we've been to. No wonder its rated one of the best in the world! Food shack was decent ($6.50 burger, $2 powerade). We loved St. John and can't wait to go back. Also heard Cinnamon Bay was nice on St. John, as well as Magens Bay on St. Thomas- but also heard this was in a sketchy area. 


St. Thomas

Got off the ship around 7:20 AM and found out the ferry to Virgin Gorda didn't leave until 9 AM. We ended up meeting a group that was working with a guide to take a boat over to Virgin Gorda. He charged $50 pp and the ferry was $30 pp. This was fine since our group had 7 or so people in a little speedboat. Once we got to the island at 9:15 AM, he set us up with a taxi that would take us to the Baths for the day. This all worked out well and the taxi was $8 pp round-trip. The Baths were really nice, but the waves were high- so the beach was closed. Neighboring Devil's Bay Beach was open next door, so we mainly spent the day there. Both places are great and very interesting/unique! We had a great time. The trail is a lot of fun, unless there's a tour coming the other way- especially led by a Costa Cruise- those people were extremely rude and obnoxious! We were glad to spend the morning there as when we left, it seemed like bus loads of people were getting dropped off. It was getting crowded in a hurry and I don't think the trails or beaches would accommodate everyone. Neat place though and neat pictures.

Murder Mystery Dinner in Le Bistro was a good time ($20 pp) and was a nice way to meet other couples.
