First time cruiser writing a first time review, so here we go:

We had contemplated a cruise vacation for quite some time. Finally committed to go with my family - parents, wife, and 2 year old. Connecting E1 cabins on the Voyager of the Seas. Thought it would be great to sail out of Galveston, as my parents live in Houston and I grew up there. This eliminated hotel cost and gave us a chance to visit family before/after. I was excited to take our first cruise on the Voyager. While it was over ten years old, being the largest in 1999 and the first ice rink, etc.. made it kind of neat. Cruising provided a great vacation option for the age range of our group.

Cruise Critic was a great tool. Learning about cruising and getting patient answers from all of the experienced cruisers really enhanced our vacation.
