ryndam cruise: january 23-january 30, 2011

on saturday we drove from granite falls NC to Tampa....took 11 hrs , reached clearwater at 8pm, fell into bed. whew. that a long time to sit. hampton inn rocky point had a nice breakfast selection and free shuttle to and from the port.

ship condition: cabin (683) OV... main deck location was great...in the aft section so we had a nice "rocking" motion at night most nights.....nice sofa, ample storage space in cabin, small bathroom with only two open shelves. not a problem though, we took out only the necessities for daily use.....cabin steward and his assistant were attentive yet unobtrusive. kept the ice bucket full without our having to ask everyday. can not ask for more.
