This cruise did not start out good. We embarked in Tampa upon checking in we learned of RCCL new point system. This was our anniversary cruise and we were to make diamond status, we learned that we are considered emerald. This was a disappointment, but understood. Sailing was pushed back to 11pm,so the shops and casino didn't open until the next day.

Our Junior Suite was nice good size and the bathroom had room to move around in. We had our "emerald" coupon book in our stateroom upon our arrival.

We ventured to the excursion desk only to be told the excursion was sold out and we were told we would be put on a waiting list. The excursion was an off road jeep tour in Costa Maya, we had done it on a prior sailing and had so much fun, we wanted to do it again. This was one of the reason we choose this cruise. The dining room was also nice. We didn't see the head waiter but once or twice. Our lead waiter was very good but soft spoken which made it hard to understand or hear him. Our assistant waiter was Sophia who always went above and beyond even when she saw us in the windjammer. The food was good, we don't eat allot of sea food, but on the alternative menu the chicken breast was very good. We like our table mates and convinced them to inquire about the jeep tour also. They were told that tour was cancelled, not sold out as we were told. We saw the "Elvis" show and "Piano Man Show" both very good. The next night at supper our table mates asked us why we weren't at the pass cruisers party, well we never received an invitation. Being more than agitated at this time I went to the service desk and explained all that had gone wrong they listened and the staff all did what they could to correct the issues we had. When we got home I email RCCL customer service and pretty much were told oh well hope you will give us another chance to earn you business, this was the icing on the cake. I'm sure we will cruise with them again as we are book on the Oasis in Sept of this year. I just expected more from RCCL.
