First let me qualify my review by saying we are experienced cruisers and we have high expectations. For a first time cruiser, or one who just likes to drink and party, we both agreed this might be a good cruise for you. If you are looking for more....well on with the review:

Embarkation: Just okay, we arrived about 12:45 p.m. Officially the boarding time is 1:30 p.m., so I guess we can't complain too much. But from the time we walked in the door, it took us 45 minutes to get on board. The parking at the port is pre-pay, so be ready if driving there. Once on board there was a decent buffet ready for us. I remember being impressed with the salad bar, but what I didn't know then was that it was just about the highlight of the food. More on this later.

They didn't have the day's activity flyer ready until almost 5:00 p.m., a little disconcerting not knowing what was planned at first. Our life boat drill wasn't a lot of fun. That had us standing there packed in like sardines, touching a lot of people you'd rather not. Luckily it was fairly brief and we were happy to start enjoying our vacation.
