We chose this route so we could snorkle at a different island each day, and we were not dissapointed, (Except for the day of rain in Dominica) We did not book any shore excursions ahead of time, but waited until we got off the boat. In St. Croix, the tourism people put us in touch w/ Jolly Roger Snorkle boat to Buck Island. Ironically, we had been on the same boat w/Mike on our honeymoon, 28 yrs ago. Once again we had an outstanding adventure and it was well worth the very reasonable $70 for the 1/2 day trip.

The other days, we secretly packed lunches and negotiated with cab drivers on the piers to take us to the premo snorkle spots. The cabbies were all wonderful, took us to the best, safest beaches, returned for us on time and were great company. We were either incredibly lucky or tourism is becoming wiser.

We had a lovely sky suite and it met all our expectations. The concept of the butler escaped me on this trip. He did deliver our afternoon snacks but other than that, all of our needs were met by our steward, Menino, who was outstanding.

Initally I was surprised at having our view blocked by liferafts in additiion to being directly across from crew space. Seems like this room is not positioned up to par w/other suites. As we knew they were full, we didn't ask for change. Room was spacious and comfortable. We loved having a bathtub after long day at beach.
