The Crew on the NCL Sun greeted us enthusiastically arriving on board. It gave us the since that a great vacation was about to occur. This was our second cruise with the Sun and again we where not disappointed. We had heard that they were going to dry dock after this cruise so we thought that we might not be first on the crew's minds with all the anticipated work in the Bahamas. That thought was incorrect on our part. We were made to fill right at home the moment we arrived.

The food in the main dinning rooms and the buffet was scrumptious. Grouper with lobster the second night and red snapper the last still makes my mouth moist when thinking about it. The maitre d' was very accommodating to one of our two friends with lactose intolerance helping her plan her meals a day ahead and our cabin steward (Mr. Santiago) was attentive to his work; and helped my wife in the purchase of an NCL robe. The receptionist desk attendants, looking stoic at times, were always helpful and pleasant when queried. The on board activities seemed to be constant in all the lounges with the veterans gathering (only offered on NCL) being a big plus for me.

As always the complimentary sauna and steam room gives this vessel even more to appreciate. By far one of the most restful and fun times we have had in a long while. Kudos to NCL, the Sun and its crew for another cruise well done. Our experience has proven to us that NCL gives the most freedoms to enjoy what, when and how much while on board.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

The Veranda was well worth the ticket price. Cabin Stewart always came through for us and extra pillows were provided.
