My husband and I were looking for a quick getaway and this cruise fit the bill.

Getting on the boat is easy if you show up before 11:00 and you can do early registration on the Queen Mary. We took advantage of this and had NO line. We did have to wait until about 1:00 to board but it was a quick line through security. Once on board the buffet was open, along with all the bars and one of our favorite places to visit, the Pizzeria.

The Paradise is a smaller ship than I'm used to, easy to get around. The cabin was pretty standard, although if they put the 2 twins together you have one side against the wall and it's hard to get into. No hairdryer, but the cabin steward brought one as soon as we asked. Speaking of stewards, we seemed to have 2. The cabin was neat as a pin and although we hung our towels up to "conserve," there were always fresh ones.
