Sail Date: Jan 2011

Our cruise to the Eastern Caribbean on the Ruby Princess on January 9, 2011 was the smoothly efficient vacation that we have come to expect with Princess. We faced no major problems on the cruise and when we would encounter a small problem it was resolved appropriately (for example, when I questioned a bar charge on our account at the purser's desk, the charge slip was secured and it was clear that the account number was incorrectly entered into the system. The desk person readily apologized for the error and had it removed immediately from my bill. No muss, no fuss.)

We found the staff to be most professional and courteous from the top on down. This, of course, reflects well on the senior staff. Our captain, Tony Yeomans, seemed like someone out of central casting. He was cool, calm, professional, and totally engaging. I would be most happy to sail with him once again.

Our cabin steward (as with many of our Princess cruises) was excellent. I was amazed at how quickly he could get our cabin shipshape when we went to breakfast in the morning. Any request was cheerfully and promptly handled.
