However, if you're on the cruise with Cruise Director Rob Sugar you're best looking out for entertainment where he isn't included in the fun. He is a disaster for Norwegian and a discrimination lawsuit waiting to happen. Among other faux pas, he "outed" a member of the staff during the Dancing With the Stars show. Now some passengers may have guess this particular dancer was in fact gay, but I'm sure some of the older passengers wouldn't have known, but might have acted differently toward him after finding out. Sugar first tried to cover up the gaffe by saying that he's English and his poor behavior could be excused simply because he's from the UK. When that didn't seem to help the situation he then outed himself by saying "he rides on the same bus" as the dancer. This behavior is utterly unacceptable!!!!

Additionally, cruise staff member Bryan Fishman (aka Fish) was equally problematic as he spent most of the cruise making out with and parading around with his girlfriend. She apparently was a passenger. Norwegian has a strict policy of not allowing staff to mingle with passengers. Now this situation may be different, but the girlfriend was clearly more important than all other passengers as he was generally lip-locked while on duty (he was wearing his name badge). The passengers honestly should've had better things to look at.

What baffled me was that assistant cruise director Megan was relegated to spend the majority of the cruise running bingo. She seemed to be the most dedicated of all of the senior cruise staff - and she also seemed like the most fun.
