This was our second cruise on the Sun. We got married in the Chapel on the Sun last December so this was an anniversary cruise. We found the ship just as lovely and enjoyable as we did before.

Embarkation was quick and painless due to our AC Penthouse suite. The always friendly and efficient Ray Williams (concierge) greeted us and after the usual check-ins, escorted us to a suite passenger waiting area which had coffee, tea, juice, snacks and tables and chairs.

Boarding started at 11:30 so we were literally the first on the ship. Our cabin (8077) was fabulous. Situated aft port side, we had a separate living room area and separate bedroom, both of which opened onto the balcony via sliding doors. The balcony was about 10 by 20 and had one small table between 2 chairs and then 2 additional lounge chairs. For balcony dining, we moved the larger coffee table from the living room outside when necessary.
