Our check in was easy. We were escorted to our cabin and offered champagne.

Our cabin was in a great location..deck 7 midship. The cabin was attractive. The closet had lots of space and drawers. There was a flat screen tv, a fridge, a one person sofa bed, a small desk and chair, a regular size balcony with 2 strap chairs and a small table. The bed was comfortable. Linens weren't the best. We had to request new linens twice when we had worn out sheets on the bed. Shame on X. The bathroom was ample..small but enough space in the shower. Toiletries were okay. I prefer my own shampoo and conditioner. The towels were mixed. Often we got nice thick towels. However, on some days we got worn out stained towels. Shame on X. There was a paper tote bag and an umbrella to use. Water and ice were provided. It was okay for the 2 of us. Our cabin steward was fair. We often didn't get our cabin serviced until late in the morning. We never got the news of the day.

A lot of people have commented about the ship condition. For a 10 year old ship, it's still in nice shape. Most things are good. There are some signs of wear and tear. Most places are clean and well serviced. The public spaces look nice. The bathrooms should have been serviced more often. I miss the cloth towels. Only some bathrooms had them. The windows needed washing.
