Norwegian Jade to the Mediterranean
Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean
We went on excursions in all of the ports. In Rome, we did "Rome on your own" which provided transportation to the city and back. On the way, the guide pointed out interesting facts about the city as well as the surrounding area. The Athens excursion was perfect--the Acropolis and a drive along the coast to the Poseidon Temple at sunset. Turkey was a particular surprise.
Ephesus was amazing and, with few crowds and an excellent guide, we had plenty of time to explore. The two days in Egypt More allowed us to experience a little of today's culture as well as the incredible sights. Finally, Malta is an island not to be missed. Beauty and history together. What a combination!
The number of international travellers on the Jade made the experience especially enjoyable. We met folks from Australia, Brazil, Europe, Africa, Asia and, of course, America.
We would highly recommend NCL and the Jade! Less

been thousands of years ago.
Beautiful port city. Medina was beautiful and the cathedrals in both Medina
and Malta are not to be missed. Don't forget to look at the intricate silver
