Ship Facts: Celebrity Eclipse Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Celebrity Eclipse Deck Plans
Found our favorite ship
This ship is incredible. Very spacious, modern, clean and welcoming. Our room did lack some storage but was roomy. THe balcony large enough to enjoy breakfast outside every day. THe room service for breakfast was always on time and arrived warm. Salvatore, our room Steward, was very attentive to every detail and always greeted us with a warm, friendly smile.

Dining was a pleasure. Our waiter Wilmer and his assistant Ketut worked very hard. Wilmer was always making suggestions and offered to double up on appetizers if we desired. Any dish that did not meet our expectations (only once) was quickly replaced. Our wine sommelier Cristian was always available with great wine selections and made sure glasses were full. The beverage package that we purchased allowed us to try many different wines by the glass up to 12 dollars a glass.

We never had to wait for an elevator, or hunt out a lounge chair by the pool. This cruise was fully booked but never felt crowded.

The buffet always had a good selection for lunch or a snack. Everett was always patrolling the are offering beverages from his cart and a good joke. If he didn't have the type of tea you wanted he would get it. Again no problem finding a table. The way it is organized the buffet lines were either non existent or very short. The only complaint was no trays just very large plates.

The entertainment was pretty standard for cruises. Very professional and entertaining.

Get a beverage package. It may appear costly but you get good value and no surprise at the end of cruising.

WE chose express disembarkation. You had to carry your own bags off of the ship to customs at 6:30 a.m.. We were in a taxi by 6:50 a.m. and at the airport in time to catch an earlier flight home.

All in all a very relaxing trip. We have been on 6 Celebrity ships and I don't know how they can top this vessel but I am sure they will try.
