Ship Facts: Celebrity Century Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Celebrity Century Deck Plans
I would never have thought
Just returned after our first cruise with X. We always have adventurous holidays in exotic places and actually joined the ship after 13 days in Costa Rica. We decided to arrive the day before the cruise and arrived with our shuttle just after 11 when the embarkation process went very quickly.

The check-in was amazingly smooth (compared to Miami airport which was slow and tedious( - infact all the behind scene elements fascinated me, how the whole mechanics work so wonderfully. We were very fortunate to have been given a great upgrade to a sky suite. We had a fabulous suite that was difficult to leave. We actually ate breakfast on the balcony every morning and as it was port side, enjoyed watching the docking at the ports.

We never once had trouble finding a place to sit, as we didn't want to sit poolside and actually preferred it on the sports deck which was the same deck as our room.

We thoroughly enjoyed the activities most of the time as spectators although I did join in on the salsa lessons and some other activities.

We found the entertainment very professional and enjoyed most of the shows.

It took us a few days to find ourselves around but enjoyed the laugh that we sometimes when looking for the Grand Dining Room ended up at the theatre, but once we remembered that the dining was at the aft and entertainment at the front, we were fine.

We actually weren't that impressed with the food in the Main Dining room. We chose to eat Selected dining which was great for us. We'd go to the dining room between 7.15-7.45 pm and would be in good time to see the shows.

It took us a few days to find the best table to feel the motion less during the meal.

Bottom line is that we had an amazing time and would love to cruise again.

I'm just not sure now if we should try another cruise company or stick with the one we enjoyed.

I would definitely not book until after last payment date. Most of the cruisers we met booked very late and got great deals. We would have preferred to pay less (who wouldn't) be luckily we got such a wonderful suite that we shall be spoiled forever to have a suite equally as good.
