Sail Date: Jan 2011

Just returned after our first cruise with X. We always have adventurous holidays in exotic places and actually joined the ship after 13 days in Costa Rica. We decided to arrive the day before the cruise and arrived with our shuttle just after 11 when the embarkation process went very quickly.

The check-in was amazingly smooth (compared to Miami airport which was slow and tedious( - infact all the behind scene elements fascinated me, how the whole mechanics work so wonderfully. We were very fortunate to have been given a great upgrade to a sky suite. We had a fabulous suite that was difficult to leave. We actually ate breakfast on the balcony every morning and as it was port side, enjoyed watching the docking at the ports.

We never once had trouble finding a place to sit, as we didn't want to sit poolside and actually preferred it on the sports deck which was the same deck as our room.

Cabin Review

First class 5 star room. Excellent cupboard space. Best bed ever slept in with wonderful bedlinen (Eqyptian cotten - Pillows wonderful too.

We were midship, sports deck. Some of the balcony furniture needed painting.

Loved all the personal touches, e.g. Welcome name on flat screen.

Bathroom toiletries of a good standard and fragrance.
