We went snorkeling and Kayaking. We had a 45 min. bus ride (air conditioned) to a beach where we went straight to the water for both the snorkeling and kayaking. We had lunch in between the two activities that was fruit, quesadillas, and tortilla chips. Pretty good (and Im a picky eater). It didnt really fill me up, but we were back on the ship in time to grab a light lunch/early afternoon snack so it didnt matter. 


Roatan

Cave Tubing! 
This was a lot of fun. We took a 30 min. walk through the jungle beforehand and it was great to see the jungle up close. We then got in the river with our tubes. We were all in groups of 8 with a guide and he actually attached all 8 of our tubes together It was then like a lazy river ride through part of the caving system. It was really neat and enjoyable. It was also a rainy day-and so a great day to be underground. We each had a headlamp that wasnt very strong. However, with so many people in the cave doing the excursion, everyones headlights created great ambient light. 


Belize City

Xplor! 
We paid the extra and wanted to try Xplor, which seemed to be the mexican version of a themepark. They had different activities-zip lining, swimming through caves, a vehicle adventure, and raft floating through caves. Even though it was an all day excursion, we didnt have time for all of the acitivities. the zip-lining was the best part. They had two courses of about 7 zip lines each and They were quite high and fast going. very enjoyable. Only downfall was that it was a cooler day and i got wet on the first zip line course (from ending in water/going through a waterfall on a few on the zip lines) and that made waiting at the top of the towers for the next zip lines quite cold cause it was a windy day. We also did the vehicle portion...basically 2 separate courses 3.1 miles each through a determined path that takes you underground and through caves at time. definitely contrived, but still neat nonetheless. 
They serve you lunch from a buffet that had quite a number of choices. 
oh yeah...to get to the excursion involved a ferry from cozumel to a nearby city and then a 10 min. bus ride. The ferry was rough on the way over...it made many of us sick to our stomachs. it was much better on the way back. 


Cozumel

They seem unstressed by the late arrival of our flight.We flew into Galveston and our flight got in an hour late.
