We just returned from our second cruise on the Sensation. Our first cruise on her was Thanksgiving of 2007. The boat itself was in great form. There was the new waterworks park, balcony cabins, and the serenity area.

I love the smaller boats like the Sensation, they have more of a family atmosphere, you actually see the same person twice in one day.

That being said, there were a few things we noticed that were not up to par. We always eat at the Lido buffet and noticed the food was just not a great this time. Everything seemed to has an oily coating on it. Some of the meats did not look good either. THe Grill was too busy as usual and not open enough. We sailed on the Carnival Dream last year and it just seems Carnival pays more attention to the newer boats than the older ones, like Sensation. They do need to improve on the "fun" days at sea or add another port to this cruise. I don't count "adult bean bad toss" as a FUN activity. The weather was cold on our day at sea, so the Serenity area was crowded and had a few folks that needed to be on the main deck with the partiers.
