Sailed on the Carnival Dream, Eastern Caribbean, departing Port Canavewral on 1/15. Embarkation was easy and quick. On the ship by 11:30 AM, in our cabin by 1:30 PM, luggage and unpacked by 2:15 PM. We had AFT corner cabin, terrible room, nice balcony. Very samll cabin, NO sofa, very tight. Would NEVER book this again.
Ports were good, with St. Maartin being the best. Nassau...WHY??????
Did smell that SMELL every once in awhile on the ship.
Shows were good, not great. Dancing in the Streets, was GREAT.
Food - Good, Lido deck buffets were very crowded and hard to get around. Booked the CHEF'S Table, $75 extra, BUT worth every penny. By far the BEST experience we had on the ship. 7 course meal in the galley. Recommend that everyone try to book this if you like great food and great service. 12 people, 6 waiters. They only do this 2 times per cruise and only take 12 people each time.
Dining Rooms were very tight. Seemed that tables for 6 had 8 people crowded in them. We chose "Your time Dining" and had great service.
Also did the steakhouse, very good food and service.
Debarkation was quick and easy. Off the ship by 7:30 AM and at budget rental by 7:45 AM. Could not have been easier.
Great time
