We love Celebrity and were so excited to be going on an S-class ship. It had been far too long since our last Celebrity cruise (10-night Ultimate Caribbean on the Constellation in 2007).

Embarkation was easy and quick. We had lunch in Bistro on Five so we didn't have to negotiate the buffet with our carry-ons. The head waitress and our servers were friendly and attentive.

Once the cabin announcement was made, we proceeded to our cabin - 1608 in Aqua Class. The location was great (just off the second floor of the library near the mid-ship elevators). The cabin was well-laid out, but a little skimpy on drawer space, and the closet was a little bit of a pain. The left sliding door stuck, and you had to squeeze between the sofa and the closet or kneel on the sofa to get to the right side of the closet. The bathroom had excellent storage and we loved the shower! Plus, the balcony is oversized (it's on the slant of the hump).

Oversized balcony, great shower, closet hard to get into.
