Sail Date: Dec 2010
Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

My husband and I recently completed a cruise aboard the Brillance of the Seas. We departed Barcelona 12/29/2010. I was assigned cabin 7170.

I paid for a balcony cabin and when I received my cabin assignment I looked on the website and the placement of the cabin looked fine. There was no mention of an obstruction. My travel agent verified he saw nothing wrong with the cabin.

However, when we reached the cabin the day we sailed we found it was about 40% blocked by the ships structure on the left side. Also, the overhang above the cabin kept the sun from reaching the balcony for most of the day. I paid for a balcony because I wanted to see the Mediterranean Sea from the entire cabin and to enjoy the balcony.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

Cabin 7170 balcony view blocked. Very noisy from club below all hours of day and night. Music and drumbeats reverberated throughout cabin.
