Ship Facts: Costa Classica Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Costa Classica Deck Plans
Never again
this was the 1st & proberbly the last cruise we have taken, i have to say not a great experience

After a very long flight from london to singapore we were looking forward to a nice relaxing holiday what we had was 2 weeks of wishing we had spent my husbands redundancy money on a trip to any where other than this cruise

The ship is one of the oldest costa has it has 2 very small pools the water looked green so didn't like to swim in it theatre had 2 shows per day 6.30pm for the people on 2nd dinner sitting 8 30 pm for people on 1st dinner that were so boring we only sat throught 10 mins of 2 of them there was no cinema nothing on the telly unless you wanted to watch the costa chanel or the news there was a libary but the books were rubbish & if did find one you wanted to read you had to hand it back or pay 20 euros there was a casino which is great if you can afford to use it a couple of bars where you could pay £10 for a pint of beer.

Trips were so expensive at least 4 times more than local travel places there was hardly any info on what you could expect to find a ports of call even places we expected to be docking at turned out to be 2 hours drive away.

Food was ok but limited to certain times of the day you couldn't even have orange juice after breakfast had finished so it was either tea water or coffee that was so strong i couldn't drink it. After 4pm the only thing available was dinner in the main dining room or pizza. At 11 45 you could get 'surprise of the day' ie fruit or pasries

At the end of the cruise we had to pay service charges of £85 each & when we asked the waiters if they recieved any of it they told us no Costa kept it all so many people complained but there was nothing they could do it was added to the bill & taken off our credit card i think they should change their name to COSTYA
