Sail Date: Jan 2011

This was our 13th cruise, our third on Celebrity. Last winter we sailed on the Eclipse and were amazed by the elegance and service and food on this ship. Yet the Millenium, althoug 10 years old, offered the same excellent service and food as on the newer ships. The Millenium is so well-maintained that it does not show its age. WE are both 60 plus and enjoy a winter cruise in January to escape the cold weather. This cruise and its itinerary was perfect.

Service- outstanding everywhere onboard. I especially love the ice cold towels and champagne when you return to the ship. The Cptain and all the managers walk around and speak to the guests every night. By the end of the cruise, some even knew our name.

Cabin- Cabin 7049 is wonderful because it has an oversized balcony which is traingular in shape. It is more than twice the size of a regular balcony and everyone should try to get this type of corner cabin. There is a lot of storage room for everything. I like that you can access your shipboard account from the flat screen tv. The bed is comfortable but I think that the bedding needs to be replaced.
