Ship Facts: Monarch of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Monarch of the Seas Deck Plans
Monarch of the Seas 3 -4 night Bahamas Cruise
Port Canaveral is easy to find and parking is 15.00 per day.

There is parking for 8.00 a night on private lots (get directions because they are not right next to the port)

It's easier to fill out all your info online before the cruise and it will only take 20 mins to get on-board (credit card info etc..) If not plan 45-1hr

They start to let people on the boat around 10:30

They do serve you lunch when you get on board

Rooms are ready at 1:30

Rooms are small bathroom and shower are tiny.

No need to get there before 1:30 unless you have no where else to be.

The Boat is like an older Holiday Inn mostly clean but older

Bathrooms do have a smell from the sewer system gas so be ready

Shows are fun cheesy

(your comedian could be good or bad they change per cruise)

Drinks are around 8.00ea. for the fruity ones beer 6.00

Food in the main dinning room is hospital type not so great for me

Windjammer's Eat when you like dining buffet on level 11 are a better option take the time to look over what's available before you load up your plate.

The buffet in the very front is less busy.

Pizza on level 12 is fine also available when other dinning is closed

Service is good in the buffet areas

Soft serve Ice cream is free. Ben and Jerry's is on board but charge

A few hrs in Nassau is fine if your not taking a tour trip etc.. Buy a travel book for walking tours)

Coco Cay is very nice and fun sun bathing swimming snorkeling para sailing diving they serve you BBQ on the Cay

Getting off the boat back at the port is easy . Self check out is best if you only have carry on bags.

I will go on a nicer boat next time but I wanted to try a short cheaper cruise first.

For the money you will have fun go for it

Peace , Eric
