We have cruised on Celebrity and are Aqua Class users. We chose Azamara because of the itinerary and with family in Singapore. The 3 night stay in Bangkok was also an important feature as we could leave the ship and join our daughter who flew in for Xmas from Kuala Lumpur. We know the class of ship as we had sailed on Pacific Princess on the Amazon. The relatively small cabin size and tiny shower were therefore not a surprise!
Our lasting image of the Quest is leaving her with Captain, Cruise Director, Hotel Director and F&B Manager all lined up to thank us and say farewell. This illustrates the lengths they went to deliver an outstanding cruise experience. We found food to be excellent as was service. The house wine was almost always good quality and I always stuck to it. We preferred Prime C as the specialist restaurant and found service and food quality to be memorably good.
Entertainment on board on this size of vessel is limited and we found the ships company - led memorably by the Cruise Director - to be better that the single performers. Some we simply did not bother to see.
7064 - midships and far enough away from laundry to avoid the noise from it. Bed comfortable for us and everything in good condition.
