We went on a "girlfriends" trip and this was 1st time cruising for both of us. We boarded the ship at approx. 1pm. Embarkation was simple, fast and easy. Upon entering the boat, we had lunch, walked around and waited for our room to be ready. We got into the room at 2:30pm, but luggage was not delivered yet. We waited and it was delivered by 3:00pm. We promptly put on our bathing suits and hit the deck. Pools were not heated and are salt water. Whirlpools were hot and fit about 6 people (4 are located on the main pool deck)

Freestyle dining was good at the buffets and sit-down restaurants. We went to the Italian Restaurant that charges a cover $20 per person, the food was cold, salty and not good! Drinks were strong, but good ($8.50), beer was $28 for a 6 pack. The ship offers a soda package, if you drink atleast 2 sodas a day it is worth the price($28.00).

Everything you purchase (drinks, speciality food, spa services, etc...has a 18% gratuity added. This cost is over and above the $12 per day/per person service change you already are required to pay. Read more
