Hi All! After reading some reviews on this site I decided to join and post a review on our experience in hopes that it will help provide even more light on the subject.

We decided that instead of the regular gifts under the tree we would take a vacation that was completely different from anything we had done before. We looked at cruises and were delighted at the apparent value that was offered. We certainly were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived at the Terminal in Long Beach We were treated very well.

I would like to mention at this time that having proper documentation is very important. I would absolutely recommend a passport. It makes things very smooth at check in. We had not brought our marriage license and, had we not brought birth certificates for all the kids (showing her maiden name) we would have been turned away. This is not a Carnival policy, it is federal policy ordered by Homeland Security.

Cabin Review

Cabin 5A

A small stateroom with a window. Clean and well tended. It's main purpose is for sleeping and it worked quite well. We were on the Riviera deck. Great housekeeping staff. Very friendly and attentive. Thanks Winifredo!
