We travelled as a family two adults and two boys aged 7 and 10. We have cruised in the past with NCL on the Dawn and the Jade so are familiar with the concept of free style cruising which we have enjoyed in the past.
We travelled from the UK the night before the cruise and stayed at the Hyatt Summerfield Suites near to Miami Airport. Hotel was fine for a short stay and we caught a cab from the hotel to the port for $27 plus tip.
Embarking the ship was smooth and quick although the queue wound round the building.
