Carnival Pride - Mexican Riviera

Sail Date: September 2004
Destination: Mexican Riviera
Embarkation: Los Angeles

Embarkation: This was the worst part of the cruise. It was the only bad thing actually. Very confusing. When we there it was SO hot out. Carnival needs better signage and more people to direct the passengers.

Cabin: We had a balcony it was excellent, great showers. Our room steward was wonderful as well.

Food: We mostly ate in the Mermaid Grill the food was really high-quality. We ate at David's once, it was a bit too fancy for my husband's taste; I liked it though.

Entertainment: Wonderful. The comedian was magnificent. The shows were fantastic.

Spa: We had massages and they were awesome!

Shore excursions: We booked our own shore excursions over the Internet before. In PV we did a four-wheel adventure through Charter Dreams, it was amazing and way better than the one Carnival offered from what I heard from other passengers. In Mazatlan we booked through Randi's Happy Horses and had a amazing horse tour. In Cabo we did not do much More because the humidity was intense so we just got off the ship for an hour and walked around then we got back on board and just relaxed.

Tips: Make sure you have a good night sleep before embarkation, it is long and can be frustrating. Less
