Bit disappointed

Sail Date: December 2010
Destination: Middle East
Embarkation: Other

This is the 3rd Thomson cruise i have been on and must say "what the hell has happened" last year the food was better and so were the staff on board.

the food was ok but was tasteless most of the time compared to last year and the year before.

This is my 3rd time on the celebration and was left wondering what had happened. We spoke to several staff and they all agreed . We were told that loads of staff had been sent to The Dream and that other staff had come from other ships and new staff. It just seemed to us that Thomson had tightened their belts and spent less. Moral on board seemed to be lowish depending who you spoke to.

The entertainment was fantastic better then the last two years and vladimir and Reggie were amazing dancers. The expressions that Vladimir pulled was just so funny he was fantastic. Both these chaps were brill. Reggie taught us line dancing and the golden girls aged 82 and 85 joined in and even took the deck by storm when Sheila who More was 82 got up and did the line dancing with all the entertainment team at the rock and roll night. They even gave here a canvas bag.... its what everyone wants to win lol

overall we meet some lovely people and had a great time

The cabin was a deluxe and was great the bathroom could really do with a refurb which apparently will be done in march . The room was dirty when we arrived and hadn't been made up and took 2 hours to do. the mini fridge never did really get restored no diet drinks Less
